Robbery Suspects Apprehended

Cass Co. – Around 10:00 p.m. Sunday night two suspects entered the Valero BP gas station at 58 Hwy and Holmes Rd. armed with a shotgun and demanding money. One subject demanded money while the second pointed a shotgun at the two clerks. The clerk complied with the demands and handed over cash to the suspects. They then left north on Holmes Rd in vehicle. A customer at the station followed the suspects and obtained a description of the vehicle.

Approximately an hour later officers with the Blue Springs Police Department stopped the suspect vehicle and took three subjects into custody that matched the description given. The two adults and one juvenile were transported to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office for questioning.

Investigators are expected to present the case to Cass County Prosecutors later today.
