Harrisonville Man with 16 Warrants Arrested After Foot Chase

A Harrisonville man with numerous warrants is in custody after fleeing from a vehicle stop on I-49 last night.

Around 11:30 Wednesday night, January 22, deputies with the Criminal Apprehension Unit attempted to stop a black Ford Focus on southbound I-49 north of Harrisonville.

After the vehicle slowed down and pulled to the shoulder the driver jumped from the moving vehicle and ran across the median to Peculiar Drive.

Deputies were able to capture the subject after a short foot pursuit and take him into custody without further incident.

A female passenger was arrested and released without charges while the investigation continues.

The driver, Adam S. Yohe, 26, Harrisonville, was booked into the Cass County Jail on 16 active warrants:
