Body Found Pleasant Hill Railroad Tracks
The Cass County Sheriff's Office recovered the body of an adult female from the Union Pacific Rail line in the area of E. 175th and S. Boardman Rd. northwest of Pleasant Hill this morning. Investigators are working to determine the identity of the victim. Evidence at the scene indicates that the victim had been struck by a train sometime in the last 24 hours. A vehicle located near the scene was removed and may help to identify the victim.
