Driver Improvement class

8 Hour Class
$100.00

Second Saturday of each month from 8am to 5pm

PAYMENT IS DUE BY 3PM, THE WEDNESDAY PRIOR TO CLASS DATE

Cass County now has an approved Driver Improvement Program (DIP). In Cass County, if a driver pleads guilty to a moving violation by paying all fines and costs to the courts and completes DIP within 60 days of the guilty plea, no points are assessed on a Missouri driver's license. Driver’s are only allowed to take the DIP class for point reduction once every 36 months. However, if the driver has a commercial driver’s license (CDL) or is driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV), the driver is not eligible to use the DIP program. Adult Classes

4 Hour Class
$75.00

3rd Tuesday of each month from 6pm to 10pm.

PAYMENT IS DUE BY 3PM, THE FRIDAY PRIOR TO CLASS DATE

Cass County now has a 4 hour adult traffic offender’s class. This class is designed for traffic violators 21 years old and older. This class is geared towards giving adult drivers convicted of a traffic violation information on how they can become a safer driver on the roadways. This class will give a brief look at several key topics of driving such as speed, distracted driving, a better understanding of basic skills used while driving, some Missouri traffic laws and basic crash statistics in Missouri. Youth Classes

4 Hour Class
$75.00

1st Tuesday of each month from 6pm to 10pm.

PAYMENT IS DUE BY 3PM, THE FRIDAY PRIOR TO CLASS DATE

Cass County now has a 4 hour youth traffic offenders class. This class is designed for a traffic violator up to 20 years old. This class is geared towards giving young drivers convicted of a traffic violation information on how they can become a safer driver on the roadways. This class will give a brief look at several key topics of driving such as speed, distracted driving, a better understanding of basic skills used while driving, some Missouri traffic laws and basic crash statistics in Missouri.
