serving the citizens of Cass County.
Public Safety Communications is many things:
- An answering point for 911 calls.
- An answering point for non 911 calls.
- Pre-arrival medical instructions while an ambulance is responding, providing “zero-minute” rescue advice.
- Public Safety Communications is a team of dedicated individuals, ready to serve the public, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
The Communications Unit handles over 70,000 telephone calls yearly.
Our goal is to handle each and every call as rapidly and accurately as possible.
